What is The Standard Size of a Business Card?
You have likely poured a rather significant amount of time and resources towards creating a thoroughly optimized business card design, but this can sometimes lead to you being relatively myopic in some way, shape or form. A big part of the reason why that is the case has to do with the fact that focusing on the big picture can often result in you forgetting some of the more minor details, and you should know that these minor details will usually make or break your card at any given point in time based on whether you remember to add them or not.
Perhaps the most frequently forgotten aspect of Metal Kards that will likely have slipped your mind as well is what size they should be.
You can’t just create a business card that is massive, after all, since doing so will make it cumbersome to carry around and what’s even worse is that it will be somewhat awkward to try to hand it over to people as well. Suffice it to say that smaller cards are not ideal either due to their tendency to get misplaced before you get the chance to use them to your heart’s content.
That is why opting for the standard business card size is likely going to be the most favorable course of action that you would ever decide to take. This standard size is three and a half inches in width and two inches in height, although you can mix things up by creating a vertically aligned card instead of something that is horizontal as well if you so choose. Just make sure that you stick to these dimensions.
